Canton/Simsbury Connection Trail Inaugural Hike

Please join us for the inaugural hike of the Canton/Simsbury connection trail. Simsbury Land Trust Youth Corps member, Jonah Lipar, lead student volunteers who worked together with Canton Land Conservation Trust members and Simsbury Land Trust members to create a trail connecting Onion Mountain Trails in Simsbury to Roaring Brook Nature Center Trails in Canton.

The hike will start at Roaring Brook Nature Center and will head over the ridge line to West Mountain Road and back. The hike is about 4 miles with twin moderately strenuous inclines on each side of the ridge line. Bring drinking water, wear good footwear and dress for the weather.
