For an easy but gorgeous outing, explore this lollipop loop along picturesque Cherry Brook. You’ll also get a look at remnants of an old dam that was used to power 18- and 19th-century mills.

Directions & parking

The trailhead is located on the east side of Cherry Brook Road, near #727 – look for the Canton Land Conservation Trust (CLCT) sign.

Park in the CLCT parking area just off the road. In Google maps, search for Swibold Trailhead CLCT.

History of the property

The trail runs through the Swibold Preserve, an 11-acre parcel generously donated to CLCT by Dick and Gretchen Swibold in 2018.
