Sweetheart Mountain Trails. Saturday August 16. 9:00 am.

Learn about Sweetheart Mountain’s history, including its past use for skiing, and hike to scenic overlooks on this Canton Land Trust Tour at 9 a.m., Sat. Aug. 16. Alex Clarke will lead this approximately 1.5-hour, moderately difficult hike.

Wear sturdy boots, clothes and bug repellent. Bring hydration and friends. Please leave dogs at home. In case of bad weather, check this website for updates.

Directions: Meet at the Freedom Drive entrance of the Sweetheart Mountain Trails, at the end of Freedom Drive, before the start of the Sweetheart Mountain housing development.
